The Elephant's Daily is a service rendered by the infinite wisdom and memory of The Elephant. The Elephant is a beast of burden, and chief among these burdens is the memory of Man in all his strivings and failings and crimes. For God gave Man dominion over the fish and the cattle and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, but The Elephant is no mere cow nor does it creep on the earth but strides proudly above and among his bretheren and whereas God gave Man dominion over the beasts of the land so too did the LORD give The Elephant dominion over memory.

For the blog page: Something a little different. We still want the sidebars to react similarly, but there's only one window and it needs to stretch and squish and when the window gets small enough the "buttons" (actual buttons) need to get bigger so it's easier to press them with a fat stubby little finger.

Update: Finally got this wretched thing to scale for mobile. Still need to add some kind of hamburger menu on top so that the normies can use it, but this is a huge step forward. Also: We gotta figure out the fonts thing. Everything's just showing up Times New Roman on mobile!!!

So the auto-column thing is an easy fix. Query the window-width and when it's between two parameters, set the column container width to 800 (I think that's right). The HTML will automatically stack the columns on account of they're just divs. I already set the height to auto, so that solves the problem of random gaps. Even narrower? 400. You will need to put the sidebars in their own divs, but whatever.
